Difference Between Type J and N

The Type J plug distinguishes itself with three round pins, including an earth pin. Although it may bear a resemblance to the Brazilian Type N plug, it’s important to note that the Type J plug is not compatible with Type N sockets due to the earth pin’s positioning, which is located farther away from the center line.

Difference Between Type D and M

Power outlet type M bears similarities to the Indian type D plug, but it distinguishes itself with larger pins. While the standard plug in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Namibia is the type D, type M can also be used, especially for larger appliances.
